About us

Scientific society for the history of health culture (SSHHC) with its founding in 2010 has established a continuity with former Association of scientific societies for history of health culture of Yugoslavia. That continuity was recognized by Ministry of education, science and technological development of the Republic of Serbia. The work of Scientific society was renewed due to the efforts of prof. dr Slobodan Đorđević, who, along with prof. dr Vera Gavrilović, has marked the last decades of the journal, up to 1991.  Prof. dr Slobodan Đorđević was elected as a president of the Society after reestablishment in 2010, while prof. dr Nikola Samardžić was elected as the editor in chief of the journal. Scientific society for the history of health culture has also published several scientific publications, monographs and proceedings; that was achieved due to assistance of Ministry of education and science (since 2012).
