The journal Acta Historiae Medicinae Stomatologiae Pharmaciae Medicinae Veterinariae requires authors to declare all conflicts of interest related to their work, whether financial or non-financial.
A conflict of interest exists when the author(s) interpret data or present information under the influence, real or perceived, of financial or personal ties to other people or organizations that could affect their impartiality.
Financial conflict of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Receiving honoraria, salary, stipends, or other payments from an organization that may stand to gain or lose financially from the publication of the manuscript, either now or in the future.
- Owning stock or dividends in an organization that may stand to gain or lose financially from the publication of the manuscript, either now or in the future.
- Ownership of patents, or initiating the process of applying for patents, relating to the content of the manuscript.
- Receiving honoraria, salary, stipends, and other payments from an organization that owns, or is in the process of applying for patents related to the content of the manuscript.
Non-financial conflicts of interest include (but are not limited to) political, personal, religious, ideological, academic and intellectual conflicts of interest. In the event that after reading these guidelines there are doubts regarding the conflict of interest, we advise you to consult with your professor, advisor or a person of academic authority, who can provide you with adequate guidance. Journal editors, editorial board members or reviewers are required to declare their own conflict of interest and may be excluded from the peer review process if it exists. In addition, they should exclude themselves from the manuscript processing in case a conflict of interest exists. This includes – but is not limited to – the fact that they have previously published with the author or authors, as well as working at the same institution as the author(s). In case a conflict of interest exists, the processing of the manuscript will be supervised by another editor.
Of course, members of the editorial board are free to submit their own papers to the journal. Their works do not have priority over others manuscripts, while the status of a member of the editorial board does not affect the process of reviewing and accepting the work.
Authors can complete the declaration of conflict of interest using this form and submit it together with the manuscript. In case there is no conflict of interest, choose the first option.
Konflikt interesa – deklaracija
Časopis Acta Historiae Medicinae Stomatologiae Pharmaciae Medicinae Veterinariae zahteva od autora da prijave sve konflikte interesa koji su u vezi sa njihovim radom, bili oni finansijski ili nefinansijski.
Konflikt interesa postoji kada autor(i) interpretiraju podatke ili prezentuju informacije pod uticajem, stvarnim ili percipiranim, finansijskih ili ličnih veza sa drugim ljudima ili organizacijama, a koji bi mogli da utiču na njihovu nepristrasnost.
Finansijski konflikt interesa obuhvata (mada nije ograničen isključivo na):
- Primanje honorara, plate, stipendija i drugih isplata od organizacije koja bi mogla da ima finansijsku dobit ili štetu od objavljivanja rukopisa, bilo sada ili u budućnosti.
- Posedovanje akcija ili dividendi u organizaciji koja bi mogla da ima finansijsku dobit ili štetu od objavljivanja rukopisa, bilo sada ili u budućnosti.
- Svojinu nad patentima, ili pokrenuti proces prijave za patente, koji se tiču sadržaja rukopisa.
- Primanje honorara, plate, stipendija i drugih isplata od organizacije koja ima svojinu nad patentima, ili je u procesu prijave za patente, koji se tiču sadržaja rukopisa.
Nefinansijski konflikt interesa obuhvata (mada nije ograničen isključivo na) političke, lične, religijske, ideološke, akademske i intelektualne konflikte interesa. U slučaju da nakon čitanja ovih smernica postoje nedoumice u vezi sa konfliktom interesa, savetujemo da se konsultujete sa Vašim profesorom, savetnikom ili osobom od akademskog autoriteta, koja Vas može adekvatno uputiti. Urednici časopisa, članovi uređivačkog odbora ili recenzenti su u obavezi da prijave sopstveni konflikt interesa i mogu biti isključeni iz procesa recenziranja u slučaju da on postoji. Osim toga, oni bi sami trebalo da se isključe iz procesa obrade rukopisa u slučaju da konflikt interesa postoji. To obuhvata – mada nije ograničeno isključivo na – činjenicu da su ranije objavljivali sa autorom ili autorima, kao i da rade na istoj instituciji kao i autor(i). U slučaju da konflikt interesa postoji, obradu rukopisa će nadzirati drugi urednik.
Naravno, članovi uređivačkog odbora su slobodni da pošalju sopstvene radove časopisu. Njihovi radovi nemaju prioritet u odnosu na druge, dok status člana uređivačkog odbora ne utiče na proces recenziranja i prihvatanja rada.
Autori mogu popuniti deklaraciju o sukobu interesa uz pomoć ovog formulara i poslati je zajedno sa rukopisom. U slučaju da ne postoji konflikt interesa, odaberite prvu opciju.
